As a young woman of african-american descent, I have been waiting for a black disney princess for ages and I would hate to see such a promising movie be ruined all because some people refuse to let go of their racial hang-ups. Honestly, it's a kids movie! Purely entertainment purposes. Kids today (for the most part) could care less about skin color, race and the like - hatred is something that is taught. And if it is not taught in the home, then there is a pretty good chance that they're not going to see a Cajun stereotype, but simply an entertaining and probably very funny character that they know is just a cartoon (i.e. it's NOT real!)
