I know that this is a Jim Cummings fan site, not a Don LaFontaine site. Very sad news for voice over actor fans everywhere! Don LaFontaine, famed movie trailer voice over actor recently seen in Geico and New York Lotto commercials in person, has passed away at 68. His official website is Don LaFontaine.com

His great voice added power to a lot of movie trailers in the last decade and he is probably best know for his phrase, “In a world. . .”
