I had to pleasure of selling some paintings to Jim a couple of weeks ago. At the time I did know who he was but he was very kind and took the time to perform several voices for me and sing a couple of songs. We conversed on some of the finer points of Pinky and the Brain among other things. After he left I looked him up on IMDB and realized that I have been listening to this guy talk for the majority of my life. Crazy.

Jim, your voice fascinates me. I’m always happy to hear your bright, “schizophrenic”, and talented voice, but I watched a lot of Disney cartoons as a kid (notably Darkwing Duck); I guess you’re just an important icon of my childhood. <3

What’s up Jimmy! Here’s hoping you read this page from time to time. Hi Stevie! I’m living in Gonzales now. Send me a pic sometimes of y’all. I’m still singing. Going to school, too. Love y’all… Betty Boop & Shanika

The voice for Mincs in the Baldur’s Gate games is just awesome. When I looked up the actor on IMDB and saw all the other credits — like, whoa. Great stuff — I’m a big fan!

I remember watching those shows. And I remember him in Aladdin. And Darkwing Duck. And I remember CatDog. I never knew he played all those characters. He’s really great.

Wow all those shows I reemember watching and I had no clue he played all those characters. All those toons were a part of my childhood, notably Darkwing Duck, CatDog, Goof Troop, Winnie The Pooh, and Tazmania. I remember CatDog, so I guess I’ve been a fan for a long time!!!

One of my earliest memories is watching Dumbo’s Flying Circus, and Lionel was my favorite! In middle school, I watched every single episode of Darkwing Duck – I lived on the Disney Afternoon! I just love Jim Cummings, but I need to know- Does Jim do the narration of Epcot’s Reflections of Earth? I’m just sure he does, but no one can tell me for sure!

Hello, Not sure if you would remember me? I was a friend of Nita’s from Paul Crist Studio. On an occasion I will have a dream and people from my past will pop up. So just the other day I had one. Nita was saying she was divorced in it. So it inspired me to Google you and maybe get in touch with Nita, and see how she is doing.Glad to see you are so successful doing what you love. Last I knew in about 1990? you were doing the Winnie the Pooh shows. I figured you went on to bigger and better things. Thought I recognized your voice a few times.
I also still have a old 8 track reel of you voices you used to get jobs, back before Winnie the Pooh.Never actually listened to it because I did not have the proper equipment.
Any way if you have contact information for Nita would love to just say hello and catch up on our lives, find out about your daughters.
Best Wishes to you,Gale

Just heard your interview on The Catholics Next Door radio show, and it renewed my interest in you. We are cousins! My grandfather is James DeVille Cummings from Pittsburgh, his sister was Sister Angelica from Mercyhurst College in Erie. I believe that your grandfather and my great-grandfather were brothers. Although we have never met, I have wanted to contact you so many times while my kids were watching different TV shows and we’d search for your name. My favorite is Ed the Hyena (that’s when we first discovered you were our cousin) and Winnie the Pooh. You are great, and you make the Cummings family proud!
God bless you!

Jim, you were my boss at the video store in '83 and '84. I remember you always doing your character voices. We loved them then and we love them now.
Keep up the great work!
