Just a quick heads up that if you enjoy JC’s voice guiding you through your video game playing hours, he plays several roles in the video game for The Golden Compass including Duke of York Servant, an Armored Bear and various other voices.

The game is out now and is available for PS3, PS2, PSP, Wii, Nintendo DS, XBox 360, and for the PC.

“Jim Cummings gets the Fly Award For Being The First Fake Brit She’s Heard Not To Pronounce The Prefix ‘Anti’ Like An American With A Long I. Hear that, everyone? It’s pronounced an-tee. With a long final i.”

From firefly99. Thanks for being pro-JC and not Ant-Eye.

If you don’t want to wait for the upcoming Wacky Races game to get your next generation Jim Cummings gaming experience, I wanted to point out some JC games that are already available in stores.

Looney Tunes: Acme Arsenal is available for XBox, PS3 and Wii. This game has very mixed reviews but, considering that most video games these days are $40 to $50 this game is only $20 to start with and even less used so how can you beat that? My philosophy on this is, for that little, I might as well give it a try and hear the dulset tones of JC playing Taz for a few hours.

While not nearly as much as a starring role as Taz, JC is also in Pirates of the Caribbean: At World’s End, which is out for pretty much every system known to man. We rented this and, while it is very short, it was fun so if you get it used somewhere, its not a bad way to pass a weekend.

One of the most enjoyable video games for a Jim Cummings fan is the Wacky Races video game for the Sega Dreamcast. Jim plays a large number of characters, many of whom interact with each other so it’s a bit like racing with all of his multiple personalities riding shotgun. If you still have your Dreamcast, I got my copy new for less than $5 so a used copy should be even cheaper if you want to try it.

Sadly, almost no one owns a Dreamcast anymore so I was overjoyed to see that they are creating a new version of this game for the Wii called Wacky Races: Crash and Burn. I am not sure if they are going to specifically be using Jim as the same characters again but based on the sheer number of characters he played last time out, I think we can expect to see him in this game.

I don’t know about you, but I am a total sucker for racing games so once the carpal tunnel I got from the release of Mario Kart Wii this week wears off, I will be pre-ordering this.
